Entertainer’s Haven

This private, tree-lined residence in Mount Maunganui was transformed through a large-scale renovation, turning the original home into a sophisticated retreat with strong indoor-outdoor connections.

The project features a sculptural poured-concrete pool house, serving as the focal point of the outdoor area. Frameless glass bifold doors allow the pool house to open fully to its surroundings, creating a seamless flow between interior and outdoor spaces.

The main home is clad in black Linea weatherboard with crisp white detailing. Inside, the open-plan layout includes four bedrooms, each with an en-suite. A generous kitchen with a five-metre island anchors the living space, while vaulted ceilings, oak flooring, and custom minimalist lighting enhance the sense of openness and calm throughout the home.
