This renovation completely reimagines the existing home while working carefully within its original bones.

The design reshapes the layout and form to strengthen connections to the site, improve privacy, and better capture key views across Mount Maunganui.

Natural stone and crisp horizontal lines define the street-facing elevation. A flat roof with generous eaves extends over the western patio, creating a sheltered outdoor living area that frames expansive views of Mauao and Tauranga Harbour.

A restrained palette of stone, timber, concrete, and glass supports a robust and enduring architectural expression, well suited to its coastal setting.
