This Mount Maunganui home renovation completely reimagines the existing residence while working carefully within its original structure.

The design reshapes the layout and form to strengthen connections to the site, improve privacy, and capture key views across Mauao and Tauranga Harbour.

Natural stone and crisp horizontal lines define the street-facing elevation, while a flat roof with generous eaves extends over the western patio, creating a sheltered outdoor living area that frames expansive coastal views. A restrained palette of stone, timber, concrete, and glass supports a robust and enduring architectural expression, perfectly suited to its coastal setting.
